Lord of Arcana, a spin-off of the Lord of Vermillion arcade games, felt more like Star Ocean than a hunting genre title since the game switched into battles. Lord of Apocalypse, the PSP and PlayStation Vita sequel, should have a different feel because Apocalypse will seamlessly transition from fields to battles. Square Enix also worked with Access Games to speed up the pace of combat.
Slayers can get quests at the guild in town. This area in Lord of Apocalypse is populated with NPCs and the quest giving Slayer’s Guild.
