A Look Through The Siliconera Community’s Fire Emblem Fates Castles

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

On Friday, I put out a call. One of Fire Emblem Fates’ many features lets you create your own home base. Once your castle is complete, you can put it up online for people to visit. They can challenge it, visit your shops and arena, collect resources, share accessories with you, and maybe even create bond units, if you’d swapped calling cards and connected enough.

With so many people playing, though, it can be difficult to find places to go. Which brings us to this, some of the Siliconera Community’s Fire Emblem Fates castles. I’ve gone through all of the addresses submitted on the original article on Friday and Saturday and compiled a list of 10 of the most accessible and interesting places to go. If you’re looking for a place to go, check out these spots!

Ross Villaluz’s Fort Valkyrie

Address: 15573-53999-97240-33294

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright

Resources: Jade, Beans

Why should you visit? First of all, props to Ross for being the first to submit a castle for the community showcase. He claimed there was not much at the moment, but it’s actually more than you’d expect. This is a great castle if you’re just getting into the game, due to a power level that isn’t intimidating and a pleasing and even layout. It’s an example of a strong start and stable beginnings.

Gamma189s Rangers HQ

Address: 01316-40323-74541-52308

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Revelations

Resources: Onyx, Amber, Berries, Daikon

Why should you visit? Do you think you have a good, strong team? Well, going to Gamma189’s castle will make you second guess that. This is what happens when you get to the end of the game. Everything is maxed out. The power level is at 2,440. Eight of the ten characters you’ll fight are at level 99. If you want to test your might, you go here.

Ben Sylvias Ft. Ben

Address: 07098-50017-13481-26147

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright

Resources: Pearl, Fish

Why should you visit? You know all of those easy skill castles you see online? Ben’s is an example of a place where you can get good, legitimate skills for characters for other classes they could absolutely take, depending on the game and their partners.  Be advised that you might need to be pretty strong, as his power level is 1,824. Get too close to his characters, and they will wipe you out. I’d recommend challenging it to try and get Astra for Silas and Counter for Sakura.

Greg171’s Easy Win!‘s

Address: 17359-59023-65193-91582

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright

Resources: Pearls, Opals

Why should you visit? Sometimes, you want to boost battle points so you can get some rewards. Greg171’s castle has the reason you’ll want to stop by in the title. It’s an easy win. Which you may appreciate after Ben’s and Gamma189’s castles. Consider grabbing Sol and Good Fortune for Felicia, if you do challenge it. As a bonus, it has a really nice layout too! Everything’s all upgraded and the shops and facilities are lined up neatly in a row.

Jordan Marsmans Castle Monius

Address: 05768-60270-27349-62439

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright

Resources: Lapis, Peach

Why should you visit? Wondering how to handle your castle’s defenses? Stop by Jordan’s castle. The six troops at the bottom of the screen are really blocked in, due to unbreakable buildings, statues, and a gigantic rock. That leaves the four on the sides to break in for the siege. It’s a great, protective layout! If you want Astra or Swordfaire for your Corrin, stop by!

John Swift Vangs Swift Paradise

Address: 14161-38292-50725-29452

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest

Resources: Crystal, Cabbage

Why should you visit? John Swift Vang’s castle is a good once to face once you’re settled in the campaign. It’s challenging enough, but also beatable. Also, it’s a good place to visit to get some ideas for child builds. There’s an interesting Merchant Midori with Quixotic and a Sophie with Sol and Luna. Also, there’s an Azura with Rend Heaven, which can come in rather handy.

Jonathan Tse’s Mother Russia

Address: 11323-63837-60738-92807

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest

Resources: Milk, Onyx

Why should you visit? Most defenses in castles focus on blocking. With Mother Russia, it’s more about slowing people down. Yes, it’s easy to take out stat boosting buildings, like the prison that adds +10 to critical, but environmental effects like trees and caltrops help slow troops down. The troops on the left side of the map have a quick and easy path to the “throne,” but it’s an otherwise neat look at an alternate defensive layout.

Andhros’ Benian

Address: 05669-70713-52234-49107

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation

Resources: Ruby, Lapis, Cabbage, Beans

Why should you visit? Andhros’ castle makes you work for it. Everything is clustered together, which can be a little frustrating when visiting. It makes for a good map that makes you keep characters together as you burrow through to seize the day. The power level is in the 900’s too, so think of it as preparation for later, stronger castles. Also, if you “really” want Aptitude for Corrin or Azura, this is a castle where you can get both skills for them.

Zeros  Ft. Corrin

Address: 03438-39847 00984-69706

Game: Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright

Resources: Pearl, Fish

Why should you visit? Well, Zero made a promise in the comments of the last article to max out everything. You have to admire that kind of dedication. Especially since all of the units in the army are at level 20/40 or higher. It’s the kind of map where the layout is symmetrical and pleasing to the eye, and the characters are all well leveled with skills that show Zero has put work into training.

BlueFire’s Hoshido Childs

Address: 18409-35174-58639-11168

Game: Fire Emblem Fates:

Resources: Coral, Fish

Why should you visit? Most castles have a mix of first and second generation characters. BlueFire’s lets you see all the Hoshido kids. This child army is entirely defenseless, so you can go in, meet them, take the castle, and grab their inherited skills. It’s a good choice for when you’ve just gotten your own kids and want some extra abilities for them, like Aptitude for Asugi or Lethality for Midori.

Fire Emblem Fates is immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS. All 10 of the castles above are waiting for you to stop by and pay a visit.
