Fate/kaleid Liner Prisma Illya, which stars Fate/Stay Night’s Illyasviel von Einzbern as a magical schoolgirl, has been delayed once again, according to Hachima. They spotted that the Nintendo 3DS game, which had already been pushed back earlier, and then again to winter 2013/14 (above video), is now listed at a staggering 6th of July 2014 on Wonder’s game chart release dates.

This apparently means the game has been postponed for practically a year. Do we really want to make a magical loli schoolgirl with a nuclear-warhead-level magical rod angry by doing this? At least she doesn’t have a Berserker, I guess…

What we know of the game from the past is that it follows the plotline of Prisma Illya, a spinoff of the Fate/Stay Night series where Illya gets turned into a unbelievably cute magical girl forced to hunt down Class Cards. The game is supposed to be split into two parts-a search half and battle half.

You’ll have to hunt around with Ruby the rod and then swap to 3D battles when you discover a Class Card running wild. The bottom half of the 3DS becomes a touch screen for your deck of captured Class Cards, and the top screen shows the action raging.

Fate/kaleid Liner Prisma Illya is currently planned for release for Nintendo 3DS 6th July 2014.
