Netflix released another teaser trailer for its upcoming live-action Cowboy Bebop series. While the show’s cast and opening credits have already been released, this is the first real glimpse fans are getting of what the show will actually look like. The trailer shows John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Danielle Pineda as Faye Valentine, and Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, taking on a bounty that won’t be making an appearance in the upcoming series. Netflix announced the live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation in June 2017, with the first visuals posted in August 2021. Yoko Kanno, who provided the music for the original anime series, returned to work on the soundtrack for the live-action series.
The live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation will debut on Netflix on November 19, 2021. The original 1998 anime series will be released on Netflix outside Japan on October 21, 2021, and is also available to stream on Hulu and Funimation.
