The Little Town Hero PS4 version has its Western release dates. On June 2, 2020, Game Freak’s RPG about turning ideas into actions will appear in North America. Then a few days later, on June 5, 2020, it will inspire people in Europe. This means there’s less than a two-month delay between its English and Japanese debuts, as it will head to Japan on April 23, 2020.
What’s interesting is the Little Town Hero PS4 version is going to have an entirely new element to it. An Easy Mode is being added. This only has an effect on battles. As pointed out in the PlayStation Blog post, all enemies’ abilities are going to be weaker, allowing you to take less damage from and do more damage to them. It will also mean fewer Special Effects, which could give you more trouble as you try to get through a battle.
Little Town Hero will come to the PlayStation 4 in Japan on April 23, 2020 and outside Japan on June 2, 2020 in North America and June 5, 2020 in Europe. As a reminder, this upcoming release will also mark the first physical copies of the game. A Big Idea Edition will arrive for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch with pins, a soundtrack, an art book, and a poster.
Little Town Hero is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch.
