Like Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer Is Dead Will Be Released Worldwide

Yoshimi Yasuda, the former CEO of Tecmo and the executive producer of Killer is Dead at Kadokawa Games, told Famitsu Killer is Dead will be released worldwide. Killer is Dead is in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Goichi Suda, executive director on Killer is Dead, said the game is a story of love and life and death. You play as a professional killer called an "executioner" who hunts S-rank criminals from around the world. Killer is Dead has swordplay like No More Heroes, but it will have a different gameplay system.

Suda said Lollipop Chainsaw has a pop and cute style, while Killer is Dead is designed to look "brilliant" and appeal to a wide range of players. Suda shared concept art with Famitsu and asked people to stay tuned for screenshots.

Killer is Dead is slated for release in 2013.
