Like LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet Karting Will Also Focus On Player Building

LittleBigPlanet is spinning off into a kart racer. Sony announced LittleBigPlanet Karting today, scheduled for release on the PlayStation 3 later this year. Like in LittleBigPlanet, there will be a strong focus on creation tools for players, with a new toolbox developed specifically for building with this game.

Who’s developing LittleBigPlanet Karting? Sony contracted United Front Games to handle development duties. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because they’re also the developer of ModNation Racers and of Sleeping Dogs, which Square Enix will publish later this year.
