At Tokyo Game Show 2024 (TGS 2024), attendees will be able to purchase exclusive Like a Dragon merchandise, with a special focus on Goro Majima in celebration of his 60th birthday. Featured items include a Goro Majima “Hannya” T-shirt, a commemorative big towel, and a tumbler wrapped with Majima’s image and gold brushstroke designs. [Thanks, Dengeki!]
Other merchandise from the Yakuza series will also be available, including face cushions of characters such as Kazuma Kiryu, Ichiban Kasuga, and Majima himself, as well as a large embossed pouch featuring Majima’s signature eye patch and Hannya tattoo design. Prices for these items range from 900 yen (approximately $6 USD) for acrylic key holders to 4,800 yen (approx. $32 USD) for the big towel.
In related news, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii was recently announced, featuring Majima as a pirate yakuza in a new spinoff. The game, set for release on February 28, 2025, returns to the series’ hack ‘n’ slash combat and includes customizable pirate ships and karaoke mini-games.
These items will be available for purchase at the Sega/Atlus booths during the event from September 26 to 29, 2024, and online pre-orders are now live through the Sega Store and Chara-Ani.
