Like a Dragon: Ishin Photo Mode Has Lots of Customization Options

A rather robust photo mode will be available in Like a Dragon: Ishin for you to preserve your Bakumatsu memories. You will be able to take pictures with characters, as well as edit on the fly. There is a number of filters and poses you can use, as well as write text directly on the picture.

The Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Twitter account has posted a short video showing off how photo mode looks like in Like a Dragon: Ishin. It shows Ryoma cycling through some of the poses that you can make him do. Aside from filters, the video also demonstrates how you can change the angle of the photo too. At the end, the picture shows Ryoma pointing at the screen while standing next to Hijikata. He shows his loyalty with the words ā€œShinsengumi Loveā€ over the picture.

While the story of Like a Dragon: Ishin will undoubtedly be serious, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has already shown several mini-games and mechanics that have the Like a Dragon seriesā€™s usual brand of nonsense. Aside from photo mode, you can also go to a cabaret and play with girls. Ryoma will also be able to help out at a udon shop, sing karaoke, chop vegetables, and summon wrestler Kenny Omega.

Like a Dragon: Ishin will come out on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC on February 21, 2023.
