The Wii won't be the only console with news and weather channels. In the future Sony will release Life with PlayStation, a service with worldwide news and weather with a 3D Earth interface for the PlayStation 3. You can choose to read online news with Energetic, Relaxing, Dramatic, Happy, or Electronic background music. Alternatively, you can use your own music loaded on the PS3. It looks like the Sony presentation chose "Sunday Morning" from Maroon 5. "Everytime" from Britney Spears was another option.
