This item is only available to Japanese consumers and cannot be shipped overseas. This is due to the weight of the statue itself. The life-sized Rei Ayanami statue was created to celebrate the release of Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time. The design of the statue has been designed to reflect the plug suit shown in the film.

Additionally, an EVA Unit-01 statue is currently available to pre-order as well. This statue is over 2.3 meters tall, and will also cost a fair amount to order. Just like the Rei statue, this item can only be shipped within Japan. The statue will cost ¥3,003,000 (or roughly $27,664) and is available to pre-order until June 23, 2021.

Other recently announced Neon Genesis Evangelion merchandise includes two new figures featuring Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa. These figures are currently available to pre-order and feature the pair wearing yukata.
