A Levi’s Super Mario collection delay has been announced, and there’s now no launch date for the clothing line in both North and South America. The collaboration was announced back in the beginning of March 2020 and showed up in Japan on April 1, 2020.
The Levi’s Super Mario collection is line of various bandanas, hats, jean jackets, shirt, overalls, and pants that all have iconic Mushroom Kingdom imagery. They’re also quite bright and colorful, with some items being absolutely packed with characters, leaving no space to see any background behind them. One of the default and more standard designs for the collaboration involves Mario hitting the E in the Levi’s logo as though it were a question block, complete with a coin popping out of it as a result.
As explained by the official Levi’s tweet, which you can see below, the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is responsible for the delay in the two regions. Also, while the company didn’t provide a new launch window, it did describe this postponement as a “slight product delay.”
Due to COVID-19, our Levi’s x Super Mario collection is experiencing slight product delays in North and South America.
