A new sort of The Legend of Zelda-like game will be appearing very soon. On January 17, 2020, Lenna’s Inception will appear. It will include a procedurally generated campaign with multiple endings and the option to go through a daily challenge dungeon to secure a spot on the leaderboards.

Things aren’t going so great for Lenna. She’s a tutor and was taking the hero kid around to train them. Except the one destined to save the kingdom was killed and, when Lenna went to look for the elder, she found that he was dead. The land’s prince has been captured by the Banker’s Guild’s Chairman, things are glitching out, and it will be up to Lenna to take up the mantle of a hero and save the day.

Except, Lenna doesn’t have to do it alone or with only one visual style. Lenna’s Inception will support local cooperative multiplayer. (The Steam product page also notes that Remote Play Together will also be an option.) If you don’t have someone else nearby, Lenna will be able to recruit characters like Gourdon the pumpkin and Henrietta the chicken. In addition, there is the option to switch between 8-bit and 32-bit audio and visual options.

Lenna’s Inception will launch on PCs on January 17, 2020.
