LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins saw a strong launch in the U.S. last month. Nintendo of America say the game sold 94,000 copies during the month of April following its April 24th launch. That’s counting both retail and download sales.

Meanwhile, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon sold another 140,000 copies in April. The game has sold over sold 530,000 copies in the U.S., counting both retail and download sales.

Sales of Nintendo 3DS first-party software are up 52% in 2013 thus far, according to NOA. In 2012, it took 30 weeks for 3DS to sell 2 million units of first-party software. In 2013, it’s reached that figure in 18 weeks. Approximately 2.1 million units of first-party 3DS software have been sold from January through April in the U.S.

Nintendo of America did not provide April hardware sales figures for the 3DS, instead mentioning only that it maintained its “torrid pace”. As previously reported, Nintendo aim to sell 18 million 3DSes worldwide from March 2013 – March 2014.

Finally, New Super Mario Bros. U has sold 770,000 copies in the U.S., again counting both retail and download sales of the game. The game has been on the market for six months.
