Last Sega Astro City Mini Games Revealed

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Sega Astro City Mini is the company’s next plug-and-play system, with the goal being to offer a replica of an actual arcade cabinet in someone’s living room. Announcements regarding its 36-game library have trickled out, and now a Famitsu livestream has revealed the last 13 games. It also revealed an Astro City arcade stick will appear at the same time as this miniature system. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Of the final 13, some are more notable and recognizable than others. For example, Flicky, Puyo Puyo 2, Space Harrier, and Thunder Force AC are all rather universally known and/or acclaimed. Here’s the full list of the last batch of Sega Astro City Mini games.

  • Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars
  • Arabian Fight
  • Flicky
  • My Hero (Seishun Scandal)
  • Ninja Princess
  • Puyo Puyo 2
  • Quartet 2
  • Rad Mobile

  • Sonic Boom
  • Space Harrier

  • Thunder Force AC

As a reminder, the first 10 games were revealed in July 2020. 13 more were announced in August 2020.

As for the Astro City Mini arcade stick, it will be 350mm wide and 120mm tall. (This means it will be bigger than the device itself.) It will cost ¥12,800 (~$121), which is the same price as the system.

Here’s the full Famitsu live stream that goes over the Sega Astro City lineup. The new games begin to appear at the 32 minute mark. The arcade stick shows up at the 54:47 point.

The Sega Astro City Mini and the arcade stick that matches it will both appear in Japan on December 17, 2020.
