Square Enix’s Last Idea was revealed last week to be a ‘Treasure Hunting RPG’ where the protagonist meets an amnesiac girl named Lucrecia, and Square Enix has now shared more on the game’s main characters. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Lucrecia (CV: Manaka Iwami)
“Will I be able to become a treasure hunter like you…?”
A young girl who is saved by the protagonist from the surrounding monsters, at the “Silent Castle” ruins found on a desolated island. She’s forgotten mostly everything except her name, but has a positive attitude regarding the future, and becomes the protagonist’s ally.
Sharon (CV: Aya Suzaki)
“Ushishishi… I’ve found some treasure! Operation success~”
A traveling merchant and treasure hunter. She’s journeying to find treasure of high value, but the ones who actually handle the labor are Dorgos and the protagonist. She just gives out orders. She’s very good at handling finances, and because she’s in charge of the finances in the party, nobody dares to speak out against her.
Dorgos (CV: Kento Fujinuma)
“Phew… I want to work a forge sometimes instead of just fending off monsters all the time, you know.”
A blacksmith who prides himself on how tough he is. He’s always getting dragged into Sharon and La-Merza’s hijinks. He dreams of creating the “Relic”, a mythical item lost to the ages, by his own hands.
La-Merza (CV: Ai Kakuma)
“Oh, are you doubting my fortune-telling?”
The fortune-teller who guides the party. It seems her fortune-telling skills that help detect the whereabouts of treasure are the real deal, but she is never able to predict the hardships on the path to the treasure. With her calm statements, she guides the party into dangerous situations.
Poron (CV: Minami Takahashi)
“Treasure hunters are thieves who delve into those ruins in search of taking the treasure within for themselves.”
Lucrecia’s pet. It’s an “Itachi Neko”, a rare beast that was said to have gone extinct 80 years ago. It can speak human language.

Last Idea launches in Japan in Spring 2019 for iOS and Android.
