Earlier this year, Crystal Dynamics injected a breath of fresh air into Lara Croft’s adventures with the digitally-downloadable Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network to much acclaim.

If you haven’t played it yet, Guardian of Light feels like a mash-up of X-Men Legends or Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Metroid and Tomb Raider. Now, the game is available on the iPod Touch and iPhone for £3.99 and high-def iPad version (above) for £5.99 in Europe. In North America, the game will be available on December 16th for $6.99 and $9.99.

The iOS ports of the game were developed by Ideaworks Game Studio, a UK-based developer of digital titles. The ports include co-op play via both Wi-Fi and bluetooth.
