Laid-Back Camp Is Getting a Virtual Camping Adventure Game for PS4, Switch, PC, and Smartphones

A new virtual camping adventure game for Laid-Back Camp is in the works. Gemdrops has announced Laid-Back Camp -Virtual- Lake Motosu and Laid-Back Camp -Virtual- Fumoto Campsite as the two versions of the game coming to PS4, Switch, PC via Steam, and smartphones.

Laid-Back Camp is a slice of life series by Afro, currently serialized in Comic Fuz. The story follows the outdoor adventures of Rin Shima and Nadeshiko Kagamihara. While the game is described as a “virtual camping adventure,” you won’t need VR headsets to play. It does, however, support it does support VR headsets for each platform. Gameplay information is currently light, but it will be a new camping adventure with both Nadeshiko and Rin. Two versions are in the works with “Lake Motosu” and “Fumoto Campsite.”

The game will come in Japanese audio and will include subtitles for Japanese, English, Chinese (Traditional & Simplified), Korean, and French. The official website will have more information on the game in the near future.

Laid-Back Camp -Virtual- Lake Motosu and Fumoto Campsite will release in Winter 2020-21 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, iOS, and Android devices. The game is planned, developed, and distributed by Gemdrops.
