While Kuro Games has developed and released Punishing Gray Raven in the past, Wuthering Waves is its first “independently developed and globally published game.” This may explain the existence of several pressing issues, such as audio bugs and translation errors. Here is a list of some of the major changes that will occur in the future:

  1. Echo Development
In Version 1.1, you will need less Shell Credits to develop your Echo. The cutscene when you collect your reward from Tacet Field will no longer be in the game, and the yield of Echoes and Echo development materials will increase. There will also be a Waveplates storage system in future updates.
  2. Reward system error when recycling developed Echoes
Kuro Games fixed an issue on May 29, 2024 in which Shell Credits players get after recycling a developed Echo was wrong. Kuro Games then removed the extra Shell Credits from players who got them, as well as issued compensation. However, Kuro Games did not inform the playerbase of this change and apologizes for this. It will compensate all players 1,000,000 Shell Credits. Players will also get 20 Crystal Solvents as an apology for the poor Echo system.
  3. 5-star weapon description
This is a reference to an issue on the Japanese side, in which the description for Jiyan’s signature weapon contains a critical error that changes its effect. Kuro Games will correct this translation, as well as any other languages that might have had a translation error in skill effect. All players will get a one-time compensation of 5 Forging Tides.
  4. Version events
Kuro Games is redesigning the rules and reward schemes for the Overdash Club event. It will introduce a new event called Wuthering Exploration that offers new rewards and content to improve players’ experience. This event will run from June 13 to 27, 2024.
  5. Combat and control optimization
In response to feedback about player experience during combat, Kuro Games will change and optimize several issues that have to do with controlling the character. PC versions of the game will disable Combat Camera Correction by default. The aggro ranges for certain bosses are different, and future updates will have a Disengagement Warning feature. It also expanded the anti-ghost touch area around buttons on mobile, with further optimizations in future updates. Custom keybinding will be something players can do in Union Level 2 and there will be a new player tutorial. Future versions will have controller mode on mobile devices.

Kuro Games addresses several other issues that have been in the game, such as audio bugs and performance issues. It will continue to optimize the player experience based on feedback in Wuthering Waves in future updates. You can read everything in more detail via the official website.

Wuthering Waves is readily available on the Windows PC and mobile devices.
