As social games on mobile phones continue to draw large audiences, Konami are making an active effort to increase their involvement in the space with three new released games, the company announced today.
The first is Treasure Discovery, a treasure-hunting game for the Mobage Town platform, which is currently amongst Japan’s largest social networks for mobile phone users. Mobage Town enjoys the support of numerous game publishers in the form of free-to-play, micro-transaction-driven games, with MonHun Nikki Poka Poka Airu Mura being the most recent example of success on the platform.
The second game is Hyaku Kanno, a dating-simulation, also for Mobage Town. The goal of Hyaku Kano is to get close to 100 — yes, one hundred — girls.
The third game is for GREE, another large social network in Japan. This one’s a card game titled Dragon Collection. There appears to be some sort of multiplayer aspect to it, as you go adventuring to collect different “monster cards,” which you can later combine with each other to increase your power. The goal of the game is to find the rarer “dragon cards.”
