Konami Uploaded Streaming Restrictions For Silent Hill 2 Remake

Konami has updated its website to include the streaming and posting restrictions for the Silent Hill 2 remake. Though the guidelines are written like some sort of legal document or contract, they’re easy enough to understand.

Recommended Videos

For starters, regardless of if you break any of the rules, you’ll need to comply with Konami if it requests that you remove your videos. People can post videos to Discord, Facebook, NicoNico, Mirrative, TikTok, YouTube, and more. However, these videos cannot infringe on third-party writes and Konami requests that people do not edit zealously. This is so viewers can understand the narrative. As well, uploaders shouldn’t insult or defame specific individuals or groups.

Outside of monetization systems on streaming sites like YouTube, people shouldn’t post videos for commercial purposes or as advertisements. Konami also prohibits content that’s offensive to public order and morals, or including illegal information in the videos. You also can’t post videos of yourself using mods, or misleading others into thinking you’re sponsored by Konami or whatnot. All in all, the restrictions on the Silent Hill 2 remake are the standard guidelines that other companies like Atlus use for streaming games or posting content.

Silent Hill 2 (2024) will come out on October 8, 2024 for the PS5 and Windows PC.
