Konami have announced a partnership with independent game developer Kung Fu Factory to publish multiple mobile games throughout 2013, the publisher announced today.
Kung Fu Factory are the developers behind games such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run, Spartacus Legends and more. The studio was established in 2002 and is based in Los Angeles. Their mobile line-up for Konami will be announced at a later date.
“Partnering with an industry leader like Konami allows us to focus on what we do best, create the games,” said Ricci Rukavina, CEO and Creative Director of Kung Fu Factory. “They have the time-tested expertise in the industry, publishing and launching a variety of titles ranging from the console space, to mobile and social.”
Meanwhile, Konami Digital Inc.’s Director of Digital Publishing, John Coligan, says the company intends to partner with more independent developers in the future to expand its variety of content.
