Kojima Productions Recruiting Talent For The Next Generation Of Metal Gear Solid

Konami, more specifically Kojima Productions, is searching for new staff for the next generation of the Metal Gear Solid series. A hiring site opened up with jobs for: planners, level designers, programmers, and computer graphic designers.

Planner positions range from game balance, to event design, to creating weapons and player actions. Programming jobs include a network position, someone who can develop the core system for game side and server side functions. There is also a game character programming job where an employee’s role is to create interesting characters, enemies, and boss characters for a 3D action game.

 

Jobs in the computer graphics category include creating event scenes, 3D models, concept art, special effects, and interface design.

 

Kojima Productions is currently working on Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and Metal Gear Solid: Rising for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
