Kojima Productions Hiring Programmers and Artists for Game Projects

Until November 6, 2024, applicants can apply to Kojima Productions. Kojima Productions, led by Hideo Kojima is only looking to hire specific roles, as applications to the studio are not for general submission. The website, hosted by Famitsu, reveals that the company is looking to expand it’s pool of artists and programmers to assist on game projects such as OD and Death Stranding 2. As it stands, applicants will be required to speak Japanese.

Concerning the specifics of each role Kojima Productions is looking for, and applicants they might be interested in hiring, the studio is looking for game programmers, systems programmers, animation programmers, A.I. programmers, and network programmers.

Artists will need to fall under the category of character artists, background artists, mecha and weapons artists, concept artists, and even facial animators. You can view the complete listing here.

In late January 2024, a new trailer was shared for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. It included a look at characters that would be returning to the sequel of Kojima Productions first original IP, Death Stranding. Announced during The Game Awards 2022, the reveal trailer offered more questions than answers.

Kojima Productions is currently working on various titles including Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, a sequel to the 2019 game, the new horror game OD developed in collaboration with filmmaker Jordan Peele for Xbox consoles, and Physint, a new action espionage title published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
