SNK updated its KOF XV website again, which means another Team Backstory. This time, it explains why three characters who might not always work together are. KOF XV Team Secret Agent is the focus, with the tale explaining why Blue Mary, Luong, and Vanessa are all together.
This KOF XV backstory begins with Luong. It turns out that Geese Howard’s butler Hein, who she refers to as “Hein-y,” is asking her to attempt to get some “thing” in exchange for money.
From there, Blue Mary arranged a meeting with Vanessa to find out more about Hein and his motivations and Luong’s background in KOF XV. However, when Vanessa appears, Luong is with her. Luong suggests the trio team up. The goal is that each one will help one another with their individual goals during the tournament.
These stories appear at a regular pace ahead of the KOF XV launch. One talked about Leona, Ralf, and Clark and Team Ikari Warriors. Another involved Team Rival, which pairs newcomers Dolores and Isla with Heidern.
KOF XV will appear on February 17, 2022 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. An Omega Edition will appear in Europe.
