Paradox and Kyy Games have announced Knights of Pen & Paper 2. It’ll be out for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android on May 14th.

As with the first game, Knights of Pen & Paper 2 will have you guiding a group of teenagers as they play a classic pen & paper RPG, illustrating it all with their vivid imaginations. You get to fully customize each teen with their own class, which goes beyond the usual Wizard, Thief, and Warrior with options such as Goth, Lab Rat, and Rocker. Further, in this sequel you can change their race to be a Dwarf, Elf, and others.

The biggest change in this sequel is that the rule set of the game has been altered. We don’t know how that will affect the play, but you will still be rolling dice to decide the challenges that each character faces. You may also notice that the 8-bit art style has been swapped out for a 16-bit one this time around, too.

Other changes include expanded equipment and crafting systems, a completely new story line with side quests, dynamically generated dungeons, and further tactical options in the turn-based battles.
