Knights Contract Signed For February In Europe

The maker of Genji and Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom have a dark fantasy tale for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Knights Contract takes place during a time when witches were brutally hunted. Heinrich used to be an executioner, but his fate changed when Gretchen, a reincarnated witch he murdered, cursed him with immortality. Not wanting to die again, Gretchen commands Heinrich to protect her from a horde of monsters with his scythe.

While both characters fight with supernatural creatures, you only control Heinrich… and he’s immortal. Gretchen, who is controlled primarily by the computer, can die so carrying her to safety is part of the game. Players can give Gretchen commands like Trip or Majin in other Namco Bandai titles.

Knights Contract is slated for a rather early release in Europe. The game has February 25 as its target release date in Europe. Namco Bandai Games America announced a stateside release, but not a release date at this time.
