GU has announced a new collaboration with the Kirby of the Stars series, which is set to launch in Japan on September 13, 2024. This new apparel line is themed around a journey to Dream Land, featuring designs inspired by levels, characters, and elements from the Kirby games. The collection will include a variety of items fit for the autumn season. Among the offerings are cardigans, sweatshirts, and pajamas, all adorned with Kirby-themed designs. Additionally, the collaboration will feature pouches with images of Kirby and Waddle Dee, ideal for those looking to carry a piece of the game with them in their day to day travel.
This new apparel collection comes shortly after the announcement of a new lineup of Kirby figures by Medicom Toys. The Ultra Detail Figure (UDF) series includes six new Kirby figures, each representing various stages of the Kirby franchise. These figures, which involve different looks and styles for Kirby, are available for pre-order and are scheduled to release in February 2025.
The Kirby GU collection will be available for purchase in-store and online starting on September 13, 2024.
