A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV is going to be more widely distributed. On March 1, 2017, the 2D, pixelated side-scroller originally offered as a pre-order bonus will be available to everyone in Europe via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Games Store. It will be a free download.

Whether or not A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV will be free in North America has yet to be announced. The additional game was a pre-order promotion through GameStop and EB Games in the region, but Square Enix has yet to issue an update confirming it will be made available to everyone.

In A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV, players go through a beat’em up set about 30 years prior to Final Fantasy XV. King Regis and his companions, Cid, Clarus, and Weskham, fight to save the capital, all while using standard attacks, magical spells, and summoned Astrals.

A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
