Following the release date announcement of Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, Square Enix released an extended trailer that showcases more gameplay and story scenes.
Check out the Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory release date announcement trailer below:
The video gives us about two minutes of extra gameplay and story scene footage compared to what we saw from the Nintendo Direct mini trailer earlier this week. As previously detailed, the rhythm-action game has stages themed after locations in the Kingdom Hearts series and Disney universe. You’ll team up with Disney characters and choose from a cast of playable Kingdom Hearts characters.
In the trailer, we get a look at the Boss Mode that will test your ability to time notes to fight powerful bosses. Players will also get to revisit iconic Kingdom Hearts scenes through Memory Dive mode. Furthermore, Co-op Mode will allow you to play side-by-side with a friend. There’s also online versus battles to compete with others.
By clearing stages, you’ll acquire materials used to synthesize new songs and items. From there, you can view your collection of movies, music, and more in the Museum feature.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in North America and Europe on November 13, 2020. The game will release in Japan on November 11, 2020.
