The Kingdom Hearts III story will be told in a new way in a few months. Yen Press has been announcing some of its recent acquisitions on Twitter, and one of them continues the paperback adaptation of the series. The first Kingdom Hearts III manga volume will be released in English on November 17, 2020.
Here’s the tweet confirming the acquisition.

This retelling of the events of Kingdom Hearts III is handled by Shiro Amano. She previously worked on the manga adaptations of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. She also has worked on manga adaptations of other Square Enix games. For example, she started out doing the Legend of Mana retelling and was responsible for The World Ends with You’s manga.
This means the tradition of Kingdom Hearts manga localizations will continue. All of the past series have also appeared in English. Tokyopop originally had the rights to some, like the original Kingdom Hearts adaptation, but Yen Press later got the rights to handle the series.
Kingdom Hearts III is available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Kingdom Hearts III manga appeared in Japan in 2019 and is still running. Its first volume will appear in North America on November 17, 2020.
