Visual novel studio Key, animation studio P.A. Works, and production company Aniplex are teaming up for the third time for an anime project, following Angel Beats! and Charlotte.
The announcement will take place on May 10, 2020, and available to watch via NicoNico Live on at 6:00pm JST on NicoNico Live. So far there’s no info about the new project, but the NicoNico page has this tidbit:
“It’s been 10 years since Angel Beats! and 5 years since Charlotte.

Guests include Visual Arts executive director Takahiro Baba, P.A. Works producer Mitsuhiko Tsuji, and Aniplex producer Yosuke Toba who all worked together on Angel Beats! and Charlotte. Comedian Tenshin Mukai (Mukai Seitaro) will be the MC of the event.
Angel Beats! first aired its 13-episode series in Japan between April and June 2010. Charlotte, which also featured 13 episodes, aired in Japan between July and September 2015. The stories of Angel Beats! and Charlotte were originally conceived by Jun Maeda, co-founder of Key. Maeda has worked on the stories of many Key titled including Kanon, Air, Clannad, Little Busters!, Summer Pockets, and more. He also contributed with his work as a lyricist and music composer for many Key titles.
In other news related to Key, the visual novel studio recently collaborated with Bandai Namco’s mobile rhythm game The Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage.
