The teaser starts off with Ayaka explaining her upbringing and education, as well as the responsibilities of the Yashiro Commission. From how the citizens on the streets greet her, we can see that she is well-loved by the people of Inazuma. However, due to her status, she seems unable to act on what she truly wants to do or enjoy herself with leisurely activities.

Ayaka, whose title is “Frostflake Heron,” uses a sword and her element is Cryo. Like Mona, she has a special Cryo sprint. When she emerges from the ground, she applies Cryo onto enemies and her normal attack. Ayaka’s Elemental Skill is a powerful Cryo attack. Her Elemental Burst shoots forward a Cryo whirlwind that will continuously damage enemies.

In English, Erica Mendez voices Ayaka. Mendez has voiced Aladdin in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and Bernadetta in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. In Japanese, Saori Hayami voices Ayaka. Hayami’s previous roles include Shinobu from Demon Slayer and Leia in Tales of Xillia.

Kamisato Ayaka will appear in Genshin Impact as part of Version 2.0, which will launch on July 21, 2021. Genshin Impact is readily available on mobile devices, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC.
