Kagura Burst: Crimson Girls includes a the previous game, Senran Kagura on the cart. Marvelous made a bunch of improvements to the 3DS game that started the costume exploding series like… umm… being able to view 3D scenes in the game’s dressing room.
Wait! There are gameplay tweaks too. All of the parameters for characters plus bosses have been fine tuned, new techniques were added including mid-air ninja arts, enemy patterns were revised (especially mission 2-11), and attack frame animations were modified. Marvelous AQL also beefed up Senran Kagura’s presentation by adding more voice acting, adjusted certain background music & facial expressions for certain event scenes, added costumes from Kagura Burst, and if you’re tired of the story you can skip it the second time you go through the game.
Of course, there’s an all new game in Kagura Burst: Crimson Girls too. Kagura Burst: Crimson Burst comes out for Nintendo 3DS on August 30.
