Sega has offered another look into the making of Team Sonic Racing, this time by offering insight into “Bingo Party” This is a song created by Jun Senoue, the Sonic Team Sound Director and Lead Composer for Team Sonic Racing, and Toriena, a chiptune artist responsible for songs like “Game Over” (with Yunomi), “Hello My Clone,” and “Notice” (with Moe Shop). To offer people a sample of the new track and insight into how it was made, an interview with Senoue and Toriena was released.

“Bingo Party” is a track that will appear during Team Sonic Racing‘s Casino-themed Bingo Party course. Which is appropriate, as Bingo Party was the name of a Sonic & All-Stars Racing track based on Sonic Heroes‘ Casino Park and the song is a remix of “Stage 06: Bingo Highway,” from the Sonic Heroes Official Soundtrack. It was first revealed as being part of the game at Sega’s 2019 SXSW panel.

Here is the three and a half minute interview with Senoue and Toriena. He noted that they teamed up for music for Team Sonic Racing‘s Casino-themed stages, and the goal was to add an electronic feel to the music for the course. We get to hear the new version of the track while watching footage from the game.

Team Sonic Racing will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 21, 2019.
