Jump Force Will Add Meruem From Hunter x Hunter as a DLC Character This Fall

Jump Force will add Meruem from Hunter x Hunter as its next DLC character this fall. Bandai Namco shared a first look and additional details in the latest issue of Jump magazine.  [Thanks, @Asashi101.]

Check out a full look at the Jump Force Meruem DLC character reveal from the magazine below:

The first move shown in the magazine is called “The King’s Strike.” It is a mid-ranged dash attack that inflicts an additional weakened status to the target. The second one is simply called “I’m starving.” It is a close-range grab move that has an additional effect of powering up Meruem upon landing the hit. Lastly, there’s “Meruem’s Disc” that can suddenly hit a distanced enemy with a powerful hit. It basically makes it harder for opponents to gain distance.

“Nen Blast” is Meruem’s Awakened Ability. He grows out his wings to fly in the air to launch an ultimate Nen blast attack.

The Hunter x Hunter rep Meruem will join Jump Force as a DLC character this fall.

Jump Force is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Jump Force Deluxe Edition will come to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on August 27, 2020 and worldwide on August 28, 2020.
