There is another place to watch the Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptation, as Funimation announced it picked up the series. As of October 4, 2021, it is available to stream via the service. This only applies to the 24 episodes of the show, and not the movie. All episodes can be viewed either with subtitles and Japanese voice acting or the English dub.
This marks the second source for the Jujutsu Kaisen anime online. Initially, people could only watch the show through Crunchyroll.
There’s been quite a lot happening surrounding Jujutsu Kaisen as of late. Back in July 2021, mangaka Gege Akutami returned from hiatus to continue work on the manga. Sumzap announced a Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade mobile game. More details about the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel movie came up. Namely, Megumi Ogata ended up getting the role of Yuto Okkotsu.
A lot of merchandise related to the series also showed up. There will be Tamagotchi models inspired by the series. There is a Sanrio collaboration that pairs up major characters with icons like Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Pochacco. And of course Good Smile Company is continuing to release figures and Nendoroids based on the series’ most important characters.
The Jujutsu Kaisen anime is available to watch on both Funimation and Crunchyroll.
