JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean Netflix Release Date Announced

David Production revealed that the first twelve episodes of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean will premiere globally on Netflix on December 1, 2021. Episodes 1 through 12 of Stone Ocean will release on the streaming platform, ahead of official Japanese broadcasts. The new season will then debut on Japanese televisions starting January 7, 2022.

Previously, the official Netflix description for the upcoming season indicated that Stone Ocean would be a monthly release. The new announcement reveals that Netflix users will get a head start on the official broadcasts. It’s unconfirmed whether Netflix will continue to release monthly uploads after the initial December debut, or if uploads will resume after the official broadcast begins.

Additionally, David Production released four new teaser trailers for the upcoming season. Each trailer focuses on a specific part of the upcoming season, such as the main character Jolyne, as well as her relationship with her father Jotaro. One trailer also introduces the various new stands that will appear in Stone Ocean.

Stone Ocean will follow Jolyne Cujoh, the daughter of Stardust Crusaders‘ main protagonist Jotaro Kujo. After an accidental death, Jolyne is arrested and sent to the Green Dolphin Street prison. She then reunites with her father, who gives her a strange pendant that awakens her Stand power.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean will premiere on Netflix globally on December 1, 2021. The official Japanese broadcast will begin a month later, starting January 7, 2022.
