The new spin-off will take place in the city of Morioh, featured heavily in Part 4 of the manga series titled Diamond is Unbreakable. This arc was also the inspiration for the third season of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series. The story will be written by Kouhei Kadono, known best for his Boogiepop series of novels and subsequent manga and anime adaptations. Tasuku Kurasuma, the creator of the No Guns Life series, will provide the art for the manga.
The original JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga series, created by Hirohiko Araki, debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1987. JoJo has sold over 100 million copies, making it one of the best-selling manga series in history.
Another JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure spin-off is immediately available. Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is out on Netflix. It also appeared as one-shot manga installments.
The JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure spin-off manga will debut in Ultra Jump magazine on December 18, 2021. The anime adaptation of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean will also be released in December, and will premiere on Netflix worldwide.
