Jingliu Makes a Splash in Honkai: Star Rail

HoYoVerse uploaded the character card for Jingliu, who will appear in a later update of Honkai: Star Rail. Judging by its past schedule, Jingliu will likely make her playable debut in Version 1.4. She will be a five-star Ice Destruction character.

In the lore of Honkai: Star Rail, Jingliu is a former member of the High-Cloud Quintet and her title was the Transcendent Flash. Though she was in a position of respect on the Xianzhou Luofu, she “chose to walk a different path” to obtain more power. Thus, the Luofu erased her name from the records of its Sword Champions. Jingliu also appeared in Jing Yuan’s animated trailer, as she was his mentor. You could also control her in Yanqing’s Companion Mission.

Currently, as of Version 1.2 of Honkai: Star Rail, Yanqing is the only Ice DPS character in the game. Jingliu will be the second one. Other Ice characters right now are either Preservation or Nihility, which make them better support characters than attackers on a team. More information on Jingliu’s kit will come out soon.

In English, AmaLee voices Jingliu. Aside from her singing career on YouTube, AmaLee also voiced Lillie in Pokemon Evolutions and Marin Kitagawa in My Dress-Up Darling. Houko Kuwashima voices Jingliu in Japanese. Kuwashima’s more prominent roles include Stellar in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny and Sango in Inuyasha.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on mobile devices and Windows PC. Jingliu will debut in Version 1.4.
