Jill Valentine has been through the storm and the rain, and she has definitely found a way to survive in the game. And soon, we’ll be able to see her keep on surviving in the Resident Evil 3 multiplayer mode. Alongside the game’s debut, Capcom confirmed the Resident Evil Resistance Jill survivor-class character will be distributed as a free update on April 17, 2020.
The Resident Evil Resistance Jill update was first announced at the very end of March 2020. As a survivor, she’ll be one of the four player-controlled characters who will attempt to deal with and survive the one player-controlled mastermind trying to ruin people’s days by killing them. The company hasn’t provided any information about what special skills this STAR will be bringing to the table.
However, Capcom’s Resident Evil Resistance Jill release date announcement did confirm that she will be a part of a planned update. This means she won’t be some sort of free piece of DLC that people could miss. As long as someone makes sure to log in and grab the regular updates when they’re released, in particular the April 17th one, they will be set.
Resident Evil 3 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and Resident Evil Resistance comes with it.
