Jiaoqiu Is Ready to Roast Enemies in Honkai: Star Rail

A HoYoLab post confirms information about Jiaoqiu’s kit, as well as provides more details about his personality. In terms of his lore, he is a foxian healer and advisor on the Xianzhou Yaoqing. He prefers to use food as a sort of medicine, with a particular affinity for hot pot. In terms of his kit, Jiaoqiu is like a more premium version of fellow Fire Nihility Guinaifen. He specializes in dealing DoT damage with Ashen Roast, which also increases how much DMG they take. With his Ultimate, he can create a Zone that causes enemies within it to take more Ultimate DMG.

Here is a “Keeping Up With Star Rail” segment on Jiaoqiu:

It is also available in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Fellow Xianzhou Yaoqing operative Moze is the guest this time. He and Owlbert discuss Jiaoqiu’s abilities in combat, as well as his personality. While we already knew a bit about him from the Version 2.4 Trailblaze Continuance and the March 7th event, the Keeping Up With Star Rail segment explains that there are more tragic reasons behind his perpetual smile and his love of spicy food.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Jiaoqiu will appear in the banner from August 21, 2024.
