The Japanese Digimon Survive release date is set. Ryokutya2089 shared the new one from the new April 2022 issue of V-Jump in Japan. It will appear in the region on July 28, 2022. The announcement also offered confirmations, noting it will show up on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. It will cost 6980円 (~$55). Bandai Namco didn’t make any official announcements yet. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089!]
This comes after multiple Digimon Survive release date delays. When it was announced in 2018, it had a 2019 launch window. In July 2019, it ended up pushed into 2020. 2020 came and went with no game. In July 2021, it ended up with a 2022 release window. However, Producer Kazumasa Habu wasn’t able to provide a new release date at Digimon Con 2022 in February.
Digimon Survive will be a strategy game. Players will help a new group of young adults in an unfamiliar, dangerous place survive with the help of their Digimon companions. Folks’ decisions will determine what sort of ending you could earn. It will be a “darker” sort of Digimon game.
The Japanese Digimon Survive release date is July 28, 2022. It will come to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Bandai Namco didn’t offer an updated launch window for its worldwide releases. It is also unknown if it could still come to the Xbox One or PC.
