Japan Is Getting The Stranger of Sword City And Its Cute New Looks On Xbox One

We recently got a look at The Stranger of Sword City’s alternate art styles for NPCs that can simply be switched through the menu. Experience announced today that the game with its new option will release in Japan for Xbox One on March 24. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

As previously reported, the “Type B” designs is an option to show the characters in a different style, done by En Okishiji, who worked on other Experience titles such as Demon Gaze and Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy. The original artwork style by Yoko Tsukamoto is still available through “Type A.”

The Stranger of Sword City will release in Japan on March 24 for Xbox One, a day prior to its PlayStation Vita release in Europe on March 25. North America will get the game on Vita earlier on March 22, 2016.
