The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) announced the winners of Japan Game Awards 2023 Future Division on the last day of Tokyo Game Show 2023. The association determined the winners by collecting votes from visitors on the first three days of the event from September 21 to 23, 2023. Japanese publishers will include this recognition in their games’ accolades as a testament that they have garnered a lot of interest from the Japanese public.

A special mention went to Zenless Zone Zero, the game under development by the Chinese company miHoYo, as the only non-Japanese title that made the list. In the 2022 edition, the Indonesian indie game A Space for the Unbound achieved this feat.
