While she wasn’t in the beta phase of the game, it comes as no surprise that Ivy, the Twisting Blade of Solitude, will be joining Soulcalibur: Lost Swords. 4Gamer shares the latest on the addition, including some extra notes on the upcoming F2P fighter.
According to the report, it looks like Ivy will still have a similar play-style as the previous Soulcalibur games, as she’ll be using her long-ranged attacks with her Valentine Snake Sword to shut down opponents.
Namco Bandai are also using feedback from the beta version to make the game easier to play. One of the new features they’ll have is the tutorial mode. Note that the above images are from an English version of the game.
They also added the option of allowing you to look at your move lists in the middle of combat, along with some text revisions.
The above is a look at a special quest where you’ll be fighting skeletons of different sizes. More info on the quest will be revealed when the game is released.
Soulcalibur: Lost Swords will be available on February 6 in Japan for PlayStation 3.
