Is There a Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Post-Game?

Once you beat The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you may wonder if there is a post-game or new game plus experience awaiting you. While it isn’t like you continue on into an epilogue, you do get a new notation on your save file and access to some things to help you find everything in-game after the end.

What sort of post-game experience unlocks after I beat The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom?

After you repair all the rifts, complete all the dungeons, and defeat the final boss in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you don’t unlock any major story post-game epilogue, but there are two features that help you max out your experience. Basically, Nintendo and Grezzo made it possible to check up on what you’re missing so far.

The first feature involves just heading into the menu. When you look through the echoes notebook section, it will actually tell you how many out of the 127 total echoes you’ve collected. So when I first beat the game, it mentioned I had 122 of them unlocked during the initial run.

The second means heading to the in-game map. If you press Y while there, you can check your progress. So it will note how many of the 25 Stamps, 40 Pieces of Heart, and 150 Might Crystals you found. It won’t state where they are, however.

Finally, you can consult with the Deku Tree in Eternal Forest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom post-game in a save file where you already beat the game once to get an idea of where any echoes you’re missing are hiding. Go speak to the Deku Tree and choose the “echo locations” option. You’ll then be told how many echoes you haven’t found yet in each region of the map.

The cleared game file is also a good time to go back and finish up any unaccounted for side quests! Take advantage of that extra time!

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is available for the Nintendo Switch
