With so many farming sims offering multiplayer as an option, someone might wonder if the early access game Fields of Mistria offers the feature. NPC Studio has been pretty clear about this being an adventure for just one person though.
Is there multiplayer in Fields of Mistria?
The short answer is no, there is no multiplayer in Fields of Mistria and that feature isn’t planned for the game. This is a single-player experience in early access and will be when the full launches as well.
We also can look to the official roadmap for the game to confirm it. There is no multiplayer on the horizon. However, we can eventually look forward to being able to marry and have children with love interests, building up the town further, learning more skills, exploring more dungeon biomes, and more decoration options.
Which farming games do include a multiplayer option?
One of the most notable ones is Stardew Valley! The 1.6 update upped the number of possible players to eight. As long as you’re on one of the currently supported platforms for that game, which doesn’t include the Vita version, you can gather others and all run a farm together. You can find it on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.
My Time at Sandrock also offers multiplayer. Like Stardew Valley, it features farming, combat, and exploration elements. That’s also on all modern platforms, so you can play it with others on the PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.Â
Another game with a multiplayer option, which ends up being a little light on the farming, is Fae Farm. That involves otherworldly elements. The priority there is more on getting through various mines and completing quests, however. That’s on the Switch and PC.
Finally, you may want to consider Sun Haven. That’s another PC farming sim that offers a multiplayer option. Like Fae Farm, it features a lot of otherworldly and magical elements. However, there’s a heavier focus on farming in that title.
Fields of Mistria is in early access on the PC.
