Is Acquire Making Chrono Academy? Sega Working On Valkyria Duel?

New trademarks from Akiba’s Trip and Class of Heroes developer Acquire hint that the company may be making a game called Chrono Academy. Acquire filed a trademark for the potential title in Japanese and English. That suggests Acquire may have plans for an international release.

 

Recently, Acquire and Xseed have been working closely together. The two companies even share the rights on two PlayStation Vita titles – Sumioni: Demon Arts and Orgarhythm. Perhaps, Chrono Academy is a future Xseed title? Even if it isn’t other companies like NIS America and MonkeyPaw Games are snapping up Acquire’s games so chances are we’ll probably get to play Chrono Academy.

 

Also on the trademark database is Valkyria Duel filed by Sega, which sounds like a new game in Sega’s popular Valkyria Chronicles series. The publisher registered this back in March and it was rumored earlier. Valkyria Duel was confirmed today when the IPDL database today.

 

 

Update: Acquire just announced New Class of Heroes: Chrono Academy. That accounts for that trademark!
