Rumiko Takahashi’s manga and anime series Inuyasha is getting a new 3D action RPG for smartphones and we got a first look at the game from the playable demo from Giant Network’s booth at ChinaJoy 2019. [Thanks, 4Gamer.]
The game title translates roughly along the lines of Inuyasha: Battle of Hell, and it mostly follows the story of the original series.
The basic game controls involve using the bottom parts of the screen. The bottom-left is the virtual pad used for moving and the bottom-right has action buttons used to perform attacks, skills, and evasive maneuvers.
It’s a 3D action RPG that uses stage-based progression, so you’ll pick stages such as 1-4, 5-6, and so on while progressing through the story. The game features various playable characters starting with Inuyasha, where you’ll take on open-field areas while following the story of the original work.
It’s worth noting that the demonstration version that was shown at the event was fully-voiced in Japanese with Chinese subtitles.

Inuyasha: Battle of Hell releases in China in 2019 for iOS and Android. Its Japanese localization is still undecided.
